Paolo Gallo
 

Paolo is a Futurist and recognised Thought Leader in themes related to Global Job Market Megatrends, Ethics & AI, Leadership 4.0 and Personal Development in a disruptive VUCA world.

He has served as Chief HR Officer at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Chief Learning Officer at the World Bank in Washington DC and Director of HR at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development in London, with prior experience at the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC and at Citigroup in London, New York and Milan, his home town. Paolo is also a member of the Adjunct Teaching Faculty at Ashridge-Hult Executive Education in London and Bocconi University in Milan. With his Executive Coaching and Advisory practice, he supports people and organisations in transition.

Paolo has worked in 80+ countries and collaborates with Harvard Business Review (Italian and Arabic editions), and is a regular contributor to the World Economic Forum Agenda, Forbes, IrishTech, Quartz and LINC Magazine Italy. He has delivered more than 100 inspiring, interactive keynotes, two TEDx talks, and commencement speeches in front of thousands of people worldwide.

He is the author of ‘The Compass & The Radar: the art of building a rewarding career while remaining true to yourself’ (Bloomsbury). This international bestseller was awarded the 2019 Axiom Business Book Gold Medal in the USA, nominated for the Best Business Book Award, and ranked among the best 5 HR Books by HR Magazine. Originally published in Italian (’La Bussola del Successo’), the book is on its 5th edition, and has also been translated into Portuguese, Arabic, Korean, Spanish, and French. He has co-authored with renown thought-leaders such as Dave Ulrich and Vlatka Hlupic.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, UK and a Certified Leadership Coach from Georgetown University.
